Add events to the Dulles Chamber Calendar - FREE

Chamber Calendar

The chamber calendar is available to Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce members for promotion of the following types of events only:

  • A grand opening or ribbon cutting ceremony of a member business.
  • An anniversary celebration of a member business.
  • A fundraiser for any chamber nonprofit, provided all sponsors and/or co-sponsors are also members. Fundraisers that meet this requirement will be posted on both the chamber and community calendars.

If your business is hosting a fundraiser for a nonprofit that is not a chamber member, we encourage you to look into gift memberships for these organizations. Nonprofit memberships start at $75/year. Fundraising partnerships between member businesses and member nonprofits are guaranteed exposure on both the chamber and community calendars. Fundraisers for nonprofits that are not chamber members may be submitted for publication on the community calendar only. All events are subject to approval. Approved events will appear on the chamber and community calendars located on the chamber website and receive promotion on chamber social media sites.

How to submit an event to the chamber calendar:

  • Go to our Home Page and log into your member account. (MIC Login Area option at top left of page)
  • Locate“Advertising on left-hand dashboard menu and click Events.
  • Select Add an Event.
  • Follow the prompts to fill out the online event form.
  • Before submitting the form, be sure to select the Member Sponsored Events and Community Events Calendar boxes in the Event Category list.
  • Submit your event for approval.
  • The chamber will approve within two business days.

Community Calendar

The community calendar is available to Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce members to promote member sponsored events or activities, such as a fundraiser, expo, professional training, or a charity drive. All events are subject to approval. Approved events will appear on the community calendar located on the chamber website and receive promotion on chamber social media sites.

How to submit an event to the community calendar:

  • Go to our Home Page and log into your member account (MIC Login Area option at top left of page)
  • Locate Advertising on left-hand dashboard menu and click Events.
  • Select Add an Event
  • Follow the prompts to fill out the online event form
  • Before submitting the form, be sure to select the Community Events Calendar box in the Event Category list
  • Submit your event for approval
  • The chamber will approve within two business days

Add your company and/or employee news to the Member News Section of our website - FREE

Member News

Member News is published on the chamber website and is available to Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce members for dissemination of the following types of company and/or employee news:

  • Awards
  • Certifications
  • Appointments
  • New Employees
  • Community and/or Civic Honors
  • Grand Opening and Anniversary News
  • Member Nonprofit Fundraisers (provided all sponsors and/or co-sponsors are also members)

News releases should be formatted in complete paragraphs and cover the basic “who, what, where, when, why” information areas. Consider your audience. If submitting pictures with your news release, please attach them to the email with your news release. When possible, JPG files are preferred. News releases submitted with missing information may not be considered for publication. All member news is subject to approval. Approved news will appear on the chamber website and receive promotion on chamber social media sites. Approved news will also be included in the chamber’s monthly newsletter.

Hot Deals-What is it & How to Post It

Hot deals are a promotional opportunity available to Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce members to market their member-to-member offerings, such as special promotions and discounts, on the chamber website. Click here to see examples and other members’ offerings.

How to submit a hot deal:

  • Go to our Home Page and log into your member account (MIC Login Area option at top left of page)
  • Locate Advertising on left-hand dashboard menu and click Hot Deals
  • Select Add a Hot Deal
  • Follow the prompts to fill out the online hot deal form
  • Submit your hot deal for approval
  • The chamber will approve within two business days

Track your hot deal success by going to Reports on the left-hand dashboard menu and click Hot Deal Hits to view the activity associated with your deal.

Post job openings on our site for FREE

How to submit a position:

  • Go to our Home Page and log into your member account (MIC Login Area option at top left of page)
  • Locate Advertising on left-hand dashboard menu and click Job Postings
  • Select Add a Job Posting
  • Follow the prompts to fill out the online hot deal form
  • Submit your posting for approval
  • The chamber will approve within two business days

Track your job postings hits by going to Reports on the left-hand dashboard menu and click Job Posting Hits to view the activity associated with your position.
