The Great Connections Campaign is Flying High!

The Great Connections Campaign celebrated its 5th Rewards Session at the Hilton Washington Dulles last Thursday night. Despite a dreary, cold evening, Great Connections Campaign volunteers turned out in record numbers to attend the Annual Dulles Regional Chamber Community Mixer, mixing and mingling with local area nonprofits, International Intrigue expert Sam Horn, Delegate Tom Rust, Supervisor John Foust and Herndon Town Council member Sheila Olem. One of the highlights of the evening was when Joe McCarey of The National Conference Center was knighted by Robbin Shefski of InSphere Insurance Solutions and this year’s Chair of the Great Connections Campaign! The knighting was bestowed upon Joe for his stealthy fundraising efforts over the last two weeks of the campaign.

Joe McCarey for The National Conference Center brought in a $20,000 sale to the campaign-easily the biggest sale this session!  Team Ambassadors, led by Joe McCarey, leapt up from last place to first with this magnificent sale! The total Great Connections Campaign intake is now over $57,000 and climbing fast! Join us for the 6th rewards session on November 4th at 12 noon at the Chantilly Chamber office! There will be checks awarded and Great Connections Campaign related fun!
